About the Club
Established in 2007, the 42nd
District Republican Club brings together Republicans in the 42nd state
legislative district, which includes Cockeysville, Loch Raven, Lutherville,
Mount Washington, Timonium, and Towson in north central Baltimore County.
North central Baltimore County has elected some of Maryland's leading Republicans, such as former Governor Bob Ehrlich, former Congresswoman Helen Delich Bentley, former Delegate Ellen Sauerbrey, and former Baltimore County Councilman Doug Riley. Today, elected Republicans from the 42nd District include Delegates Bill Frank and Sue Aumann, as well as Baltimore County Councilman T. Bryan McIntire.
Generally, the 42nd District Republican Club typically meets every fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Father O'Neill Knights of Columbus Hall (616 West Seminary Avenue) in Lutherville. Monthly meetings draw a diversity of interesting speakers. The club also started a spaghetti dinner packed the house in November of 2007.
Club Officers are President John Fiastro, Jr.; Vice President Jeff Tosi; Secretary Sue Cavanaugh; Treasurer Robert K. Erdman, Jr; Fundraising Chair Maria Gross; and Chaplain Kevin Bruffey.
Dues are $20 per single person. Membership is open to all Republicans, not just residents of the 42nd District.A check, made payable to the 42nd District Republican Club, may be sent to the 42nd District Republican Club, c/o Robert K.
