Club Activities

Since the 42nd District Republican started in 2007, the club has been extraordinarily busy, holding events that bring together Republicans from throughout the greater Towson area.
Monthly meetings have drawn interesting speakers, such as representatives from Republican Presidential campaigns and local legislators.
The club sponsored a forum in September 2007 at Goucher College with former Governor Bob Ehrlich.
The club held a spaghetti
dinner in November 2007 at the Father O'Neill Knights of Columbus
hall. A sellout crowd enjoyed first-class Italian cuisine and desserts.
State Senator Andy Harris gave
an update on the recently-concluded special session of the Maryland General
Assembly. Senator Harris will be on the primary election ballot for the
U.S. House of Representatives. Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge
Pat Stringer will also be on the ballot, and he also spoke to the crowd.
The club volunteers for Republican campaigns, and often refers people to candidates they want to support.
The club has a booth at the Towsontown Festival.
